Lollipop Chainsaw Hack/Slash Crossover?

Many comparisons have been made between Cassie Hack (Hack/Slash) and Juliet Starling (Lollipop Chainsaw), but today’s twitter conversation could bring a crossover between the two.

Spaced4SimonPeg tweets

I think there needs to be a Juliet Starling & Cassie Hack comic book team up @JamesGunn and @hackintimseeley need 2 discuss this.

Tim Seeley replies

@Spaced4SimonPeg @JamesGunn I said I’d draw if James would write it!

And then James Gunn weighs in

@HackinTimSeeley @Spaced4SimonPeg Well, that’s a rather appealing offer!

Would you be looking forward to this crossover?  Who else would you like to see Hack/Slash cross over with?

Update:  It may not be as easy as that.

Tim mentions the movie Super (written and directed by James Gunn)…

@HackSlashInc @spaced4simonpeg @jamesgunn I’m actually a bigger fan of SUPER! Cassie vs. Crimson Bolt amiright.

And James mentions that the rights for Lollipop Chainsaw might be a tough nut to crack…

@HackinTimSeeley @HackSlashInc @Spaced4SimonPeg And those rights are easier to deal with, actually. Japanese copyright laws are a bitch.

But, Tim closes with

@JamesGunn the more you, and the less lawyers,the better all around. But seriously, anything you wanna jam on, I’m down.

Interesting note, Grasshopper Manufacture, developer of Lollipop Chainsaw, was also the developer for Killer7, which had a comic book from Devil’s Due Publishing, former home of Hack/Slash. I’m not sure how the rights work since both games were published by different companies, but there may be a connection in there somewhere!

The End… for now?

    Would probably make a pretty awesome crossover (maybe also just randomly throw in Bad Girl from No More Heroes?). As for other ones I’d like to see… way too many to list.
